Hilton Head Island

Hi y'all!

Our arrival at Kevin's sister's house was timed to coincide with the Hilton Head Island 2002 Triathlon, as Bernadette was participating. On the eve of the big event, Kevin was swept up in the excitement and decided to join in (perhaps this was 30th birthday mania). The 500 yards sea swim, 12 mile cycle and 3 mile run kicked off at 7am. Despite a flat tyre, Kev came in under two hours, and Ber beat her previous time of 1hr 34. Well done both of you!
