Kennedy Space Centre

Hi All!

After a day of relaxation on Miami Beach, we travelled north towards South Carolina stopping in Kennedy Space Centre.

The visitor centre houses the mandatory IMAX cinema; a full size mock of up the shuttle (its surprisingly small inside) and a 'rocket garden' where you can walk around rockets used in the infancy days of NASA.

The highlight is the Saturn V Apollo Centre with presentations on moon landings, a display of the last remaining Saturn V rockets and the opportunity to touch a piece of moon rock.
